Have a Blast with Family Space Day at the George Observatory

Don’t miss the out-of-this-world excitement of Family Space Day at the Houston Museum of Natural Science! This special event invites astronauts of all ages to blast into outer space on a simulated space flight to the Moon.

Come take part in this kid-friendly afternoon of fun and join a staged NASA mission with real astronaut training. You can explore the Expedition Learning Center at the George Observatory and sign up for a fascinating and educational mission to space without ever leaving the ground! As an astronaut, you’ll be assigned jobs aboard the Space Station Observer and work together with your fellow explorers as you solve problems and have fun. Volunteers who work at NASA will run the missions and visit with the participants, making this event a unique opportunity to learn about the wonders of space. Be sure to mark your calendar and get hands-on astronaut training at Family Space Day!

At Heights at Park Row Apartments in Houston, Texas, it is clear that we have it all, but we still feel obliged to inform you of all the events our community has scheduled. Please feel free to join in all of the fun at this event!
