Craving a Diverse Exhibition with Plenty of Insight? Check Out the All-New Borderlust

The Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston will present the opening reception on Saturday, September 28th!

After their shared experiences in Santiago de Chile 2015, Mauricio Paz Viola and Justin Earl Grant have reunited once again in the city of Houston. Mauricio Paz Viola and Justin Earl Grant are celebrating their second exhibition together, Borderlust, at The Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston.

Borderlust is a reflection on the dynamic experience of how we construct our identity as an emancipatory and paradoxical process. The collection of works presents a series of silhouettes of the human figure whose limits are traced and shows the interconnection of the subject with the whole. Bonderlust aspires to reaffirm the magnitude of possibilities of the expansion of the human being.

This exhibition is hosted by the Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston, whose mission is to disseminate and preserve the rich Hispanic culture and to highlight the historical, linguistic, scientific, and artistic achievements of Hispanics or Latin-Americans, particularly Hispanics and Latin-Americans residing in Houston, Texas. The exhibit will be on display until Saturday, October 5th.

Admission to Borderlust is free. For more information, visit www.ihch.org or call 713-528-1492.
